GOLDEN GLOBES WINNING SERIES FEATURES REUTERS VIDEO ARCHIVE

With Awards season well and truly underway, Screenocean is very excited to see some of our archive footage from the Reuters Video Archive making it into the nominations, and even winners.

'American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace', produced by Fox 21 Television Studios, won the Golden Globe for Best Television Limited Series, with actor Darren Criss also winning Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series. This production featured Reuters material of Versace's funeral.

'The Silence of Others', which also features Reuters material, is an archive documentary depicting the struggle of the victims of Franco's 40-year dictatorship in Spain. It had already swept up various awards for Best Documentary last year but has now also been shortlisted for an Oscar.

With the nominations for the upcoming 91st Academy Awards expected in the next few weeks, as well as the BAFTA nominations on 9th January, we look forward to seeing what the future holds for archive features!
